The Most Fun Playing Solo with Your Guitar
Author: deets101
I still like to play with toys… and there’s a great little amp that looks like a toy, but is packed with features. I’ll tell you about it in a moment.
I’ve got an EVH Wolfgang and a VOX Valvetronix AD60vtx and they just go great together, but it felt like sometimes I’d play and have fun… and sometimes things just wouldn’t come together (couldn’t play worth a darn, couldn’t get the right sound, or it just didn’t feel “right”). Have you ever had times like that?
But I found something simple and easy that has renewed my enthusiasm… and expanded the depth of my guitar playing. Don’t laugh… but I’m going to tell you about the Fender G-DEC.
I know it looks more like a kids toy than a serious amp. Afterall, you can’t get much out of 15 watts… or can you?
I found the amp is great for beginners and even for those that have been playing for a while. The box says it’s got the “Drummer and Bassist Included” and all that is need is you. It’s true. My wife got it for me for Christmas (yes… I opened it early) and I can’t stop playing it. In fact, my legs want to give out from the hours of standing and playing this week.
If you’re a beginner… you absolutely need this amp. It will make your playing sound balanced and be a real boost to your confidence. I bought my 8 year old a Fender Mini Strat and I know he’s gonna have a blast with this amp… as it covers over a multitude of sins.
If you’ve got more experience, this truly makes for a fun practice amp. It comes with 50 presets that you can fully customize and has lots of effects. You can change or remove the drums, you can remove the bass, you can change the effects and keep playing… all in real time.
It can really crank out some of those old Fender surf sounds (Dick Dale blast-back time) and it emulates other amps well. It’s got a little AC/DC in there, some Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Clapton, Queen, Van Halen (well… kinda), several Country varieties, Jazz and Latin.
I find that I take the amp songs and settings that I don’t like (I used to not like latin, but with this amp I’ve changed my mind) and then play some songs there to add variety in what I play… by doing this, I actually get a different kind of experience in my playing. You can also store another 50 of your own settings and the G-DEC has a MIDI input, so I’ve got a friend that is the absolute MIDI expert, and we’re looking through his thousands of files to see what we want to add to this amp.
The other night I was playing to the “surf” setting and before I knew it, a couple hours had passed. Then we cranked out Clapton the next night. Last night it was Dixie Rock (I couldn’t imagine ever playing this style… now its enjoyable).
There’s no way that this amp can keep up with a real drummer in the room… but when you’re just by yourself, you can get almost “loud” and really enjoy the sound you get. With the door open, your neighbors walking down the street can hear it… and it’s just loud enough to impress your friends.
The Fender G-DEC amp runs about $300, some places have it as low as $270. You can find the description at Fender’s website. It’s money well spent and I believe you’ll have a great time with it.

Here’s a rundown on just some of the action happening New Years Eve in Jax Beach Florida.
This New Years Eve marks the end of an era for many locals of the beaches area. First Street Grill will be closing its doors for the last time early New Year’s day. Slated for demolition early next year to make room for a new 7 story condo, First Street Grill promises to go out with a bang. They are still taking reservations for their last bash. $175.00 will get you 2 five coarse dinners, a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses of bubbly at midnight to bring in the New Year. Entertainment will be provided by “The Company”, serving up a repertoire of oldies from the 60’s and 70’s. Dining and dancing days of the First Street Grill will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by us all…may all acquaintance…
Right at the hub of the party is Magellan’s Oceanfront Restaurant, specializing in fresh local seafood and angus steaks. Casual dining inside with an ocean view, or on the boardwalk patio overlooking the Jax Beach Pier, Magellan’s is sure to be an end of the year dining extravaganza. After dinner visit DJs KG and Jade upstairs at the Atlantic nightclub, then truck on across the courtyard to JB’s premier Ocean Club. The OC will have party favors, a champagne toast, and 4 DJs, inside and outside on the boardwalk, in 4 different rooms. There’s a $20 cover charge, but they’ll be partying till 4am!
If you want a change of pace, cruise across the street to the Ritz, where there’s never a cover charge. Dance to the music till 4am. The “Jax Beach Triangle” - Atlantic, Ocean Club, and the Ritz - party till 4 on the strip!

Jax Beach’s most loved band Mofro, a frequent performer at our “Springin’ the Blues” festival, will be appearing just down the street at FreeBird Live! (congrats on the hall of fame thing). Mofro, with Eric Lindell will be performing both Friday and Saturday. Dial 246.2473 for details.
For those of you who just want to get on the ocean, have a good meal, drink and do some gambling, SunCruz Casinos offers 5 hour tours out of Mayport. Call 249.9300 for more info, and be sure to pick up a voucher at the Holiday Inn for a free boarding pass and a bunch of other free stuff.
Do yourself a favor and spend the night at the beach. Many of the Hotels on Jax Beach still have rooms available for the weekend. The Holiday Inn at 15th Ave. and 1st St. North has rooms starting at $129. The Comfort Inn just next door had 50 rooms on Thursday, and just dropped their rates to $99. Quality Suites at Beach Blvd. and 1st Street is closest to where the action is, and their rooms are starting at $219, not bad when you consider all of their rooms are “Suites”. Whatever you do, be safe! JBPD are some very serious people.
The People of Jacksonville Beach are all about fun! Weather your in town for the Gator Bowl, or just a hardy partying local. You’ll find all the fun you need, right here in Jax Beach, Fla!

Intensify Your Home Theater Experience With HDTV
Author: teahupoo
Home theater is entertainment at home with a bit of excitement thrown in. It is basically a combination of video and audio equipment set up in your home in such a way that you feel you are actually sitting in a movie theater as opposed to in your own living room or family room. Contrary to popular belief, home theater does not have to run you into scores of big bucks. Instead it can be whatever you want to make it. A home theater can consist of as simple or as elaborate a system as you prefer. For example a 32-inch television set coupled with a DVD player and/or a HiFi VCR with a stereo and speakers can equal a home theater experience. Make it whatever you wish.
HDTV programming is gaining strength all of the time, in the form of broadcast, cable and satellite service. Home theater can intensify tremendously with HDTV. For example the audio that is part and parcel of HDTV video comes in surround sound. What this does is it takes complete advantage of the surround sound receiver of HDTV broadcasting.
Although a DVD (which stands for digital versatile disc) is not available in a high-resolution format, it displays what is known as a progressive scan signal. It is a progressive scan which makes the DVD player work to its optimum best. The majority of DVD players have the ability to give off progressive scanning and it is this function that gives the movie watcher an image that is clear, smooth and greatly resembles the quality of a film seen in a movie theater.
As well more and more DVD players in today’s electronics world have the capability of HD-up scaling. This up scaling takes high definition capacities of HD-compatible televisions to greater heights. In addition, DVD continues towards greater advancements. Blu-ray and HD-DVD are both forms of high definition DVD that are up and coming elements of HDTV. All of the benefits that HDTV has so richly to offer when it comes to details seen in visual images could go well beyond what the present technology of DVDs are, in particular in regards to projections on large screens.
In order to set up your own home theater to receive HDTV signals, you must first determine what particular sources are available in your area. HDTV can be obtained from three different sources. The first and most commonly accessible source is over-the-air (otherwise known as terrestrial) broadcasts that can be received by way of an aerial (or rooftop) antenna. In order to make use of this source of HDTV signals for your home theater you must live within a sixty-mile radius of the nearest transmitter and your property must have an unobstructed view for the signals to clearly come through.
HDTV signals can also be transmitted by satellite. This is the second most widely used source. Presently there are only two networks by way of satellite that broadcast HDTV. These are DirecTV and Dish Network. DirecTV offers the channels HBO, Showtime and HDNET, while Dish Network offers the Discovery channel, HBO, Showtime, a 24-hour pay-per-view channel, an HD demo channel and the national feed of CBS HD.
Cable is the third source of HDTV for home theater. Not all cable systems carry HDTV broadcasting as it varies from place to place. Keep in mind an important point, and that is that a “digital cable system” has no association whatsoever with DTV transmitted by way of cable. Digital cable is basically just regular cable that is digitally transmitted but with a multitude of other channels. The closest thing this could compare to is digital satellite. If you want to go this route it is important that you get in touch with your local cable company to find out if it is even possible to do so.
An HDTV tuner will be necessary for your home theater in order to do a variety of functions including grabbing, decoding and converting HDTV signals into a format that a television can recognize. An honest to goodness high-definition television has a tuner that is already built into the console of the set but this is not very common, as the technology for tuners has moved along swiftly and reduced in price much quicker than the technology for displays. The best thing to invest in is an HD monitor (which is a display minus an HDTV tuner) that can, if you like, be combined with a tuner any time you care to do so.

The Truth About Organized Crime In America
Author: seeley
From “The Untouchables” to “Casino,” organized crime has had a serious impact on Hollywood, but how much is fact and how much is fiction? Is organized crime a big problem in America? Are there really “crime families” and is organized crime still a big deal or did it die out with the commercialization of Las Vegas and the end of Prohibition?
According to federal reports, organized crime in America has been and remains a fact of life. From the days of Al Capone to more urbanized gangs, the face of crime has changed, but its basic impact on society has not.
Gone are the days of organized rum runners and gambling rings (for the most part) and now those who battle organized crime find themselves not only dealing with the Mafia, but also street gangs, drug cartels and more. The stakes have also changed a bit as well. Rather than just gambling, alcohol and book cooking, the authorities are now also facing those who buy and sell guns, drugs and even people.
The roots of organized crime in America, at least in the case of the Mafia, date back to the arrival of Guiseppi Esposito in 1878 along with other Sicilians. Along with them came the recipe for organized crime, a recipe that would give rise to some of the most infamous criminals of American history. This mob faction, known as Las Cosa Nostra, is very well organized and believed to still include more than 20 active “families” in America today with each family having up to 700 members.
Here are some of the biggest names associated with the American mafia.
Al Capone: The infamous rival of Elliot Ness, this mobster was raised in New York with the likes of Johnny Torrio, Bugsy Spiegel and Meyer Lansky. Lansky and Spiegel were responsible for founding Las Vegas. Capone, believed responsible for a number of murders by act of ordering them, was eventually taken down by Ness for tax evasion.
Lucky Luciano: He is believed to be responsible for the spread of La Cosa Nostra across the country. He’s been dubbed the “Godfather of all Godfathers” for his efforts on behalf of organized crime.
George “Bugsy” Moran: An American by birth, he was the famed rival of Al Capone and was the target that avoided the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
Carlo Gambino: Considered one of the most successful of crime bosses in American history. Gambino avoided prosecution his entire run and died of natural causes in 1976.
Although these are legendary figures, it’s a simple fact organized crime continues today whether through the infamous families and their branches or through more urbanized and less “civilized” gangs. Despite much attention from law enforcement both local and federal, the simple fact is organized crime has not died out, it’s only changed its face over the course of time. Organized crime is believed to be behind a great deal of activity on the American crime front today and likely will be far into the future. From drug running to selling weapons and beyond, the mob and other organizations are very much alive and well.

The Humble TV Remote Control: Friend Or Foe?
Author: ajames
Technology such as LCD Monitors covered in this article are rapidly changing our world in many ways and becoming more affordable for the average person. It’s worth mentioning however that better technology is actually properly defined as simply a better way of doing something we already do with whatever process we have at hand. Rather than thinking of better technology in terms of computers, hi tech gadgets and such, for example anytime we find a way to get to work 5mins faster than before we have found a better technology to improve our lives in some respect.
Several people in families all over the world fight over many things. I am not referring to things like domestic violence here, which are despicable acts of cowardly people. I am referring to things like food, cleanliness, newspaper subscriptions and the like. I’ve personally witnessed otherwise peaceful families break into literal wars over mundane and often, nondescript issues. We too have out warring subject. In our house, the TV remote control is the biggest cause of strife.
Do I hear you giggling? You’d better not! For the TV remote control has almost torn asunder the fabric of our otherwise closely knit and well adjusted family. Till a couple of years ago, we had an old TV that my grandfather had passed us down. Sure it had a blurry image and one had to walk up to it in order to change the channel. And they were only half a dozen channels to see anyways. While we were surely out of the pale of regular American TV watchers and the discussions, we actually enjoyed watching TV. Until the TV died on us that is.
But then, the keeping up with the Joneses bug bit us too and dad went down to the electronics store to bring this mammoth flat screen television with a zillion different channels. It looked good, seemed to have the most incredible features, and best of all, came with a TV remote control. Why I say that it seemed like the best feature is because a TV remote control for us, was still a novel thing. We had never before owned a television that came with a TV remote control and were thrilled that we could become slouching couch potatoes and would never have to get off the couch to change channels.
**Running Commentary** - Its interesting to note at this point that the cost of LCD Monitors is going to range in price quite a bit and you really need to first identify your needs and wants and when you go shopping make sure you don’t overspend for features you want but don’t really need. As technology so quickly becomes obsolete 1. many of the features will become obsolete 2. later models will be cheaper if not superseded by a later model with newer features and 3. are you going to actually have time to read the whole manual and understand how all the features work ? (I know I never figure out all the features of any new gadget or gizmo I buy)
As is normal in such cases, the younger members of the family were the first ones to discover the immense uses of the TV remote control. They discovered for instance, that there was a world of information available at the press of the ‘info’ button. Suddenly, sitting through a movie to discover that it sucked only after having wasted a hour and a half was a problem that would never surface. The info button could tell us if we wanted to watch the movie at all. Next, the ability to see a picture in picture was made possible due to the TV remote control. Although I suspect that the state of the art TV had something to d with it as well. Each day, we discovered newer tips and tricks of the TV remote control and were soon proficient in its use.
But Dad soon usurped the TV remote control and began to delude himself that it was meant for his sole use. He literally hogged the remote all day long (or whenever he happened to be sitting in front of the TV) watching his boring stock quotes and news channels. With him holding the reins, it was no longer possible for us to flip channels at will before we decided on what we wanted to see. And thus, the griping started. Everybody was suddenly the TV remote control’s best pal and nobody wanted to share it with any other family member. Large, bloody wars were fought over who controlled the TV remote control. (Dad usually won!) The losers weren’t so happy and either sulked all day or nagged all day. Life itself became a living hell. Now of course, we all have our individual TVs and TV remote controls. But the innocuous remote is a family bonding killer. Take my word for it!
To wrap up our article about LCD Monitors I wish you luck in putting your new technology to use in your home/work life. In the last 20 years I have seen so many examples of new technology come and go I can’t help feeling excited about what I’m going to see in the next 20 years. Although many people seem to feel a sense of foreboding about new things changing their lives in a negative way I must confess that I don’t have this fear at all (at the ripe old age of 40 anyway). I understand that new and changing technology is not only inevitable but in fact is opening up more opportunities for us all than ever before in our history and we should only feel threatened if we choose to cling to the past and somehow expect the rest of the world around us to do the same.

Eye-popping Properties of HDTV
Author: teahupoo
HDTV or high definition television is the cutting-edge technology in home theater systems. Movie enthusiasts praise the high definition televisions for its clearer picture, better sound, progressive scanning and a wider viewing screen. As the trend towards replacing traditional analog televisions with the HDTV, consumers are starting to notice the eye-popping properties of HDTV.
High definition television is a revolutionary new technology that brings the viewer the clearest, brightest picture possible. The picture on the television can be considered life-like and real. The colors displayed using the digital technology and wide screen pictures, are bright and crisp. Surround sound further enhances the viewer’s experience.
The standard high definition television works by using a digital broadcast signal that is able to deliver a wide-screen, high-resolution picture with six channels of digital sound. The difference between HDTV and conventional television broadcast is that the high definition screen is much wider. This allows the broadcast or DVD movies to be viewed as they would in a movie theater. No parts of the screen either at the top or bottom are obstructed or cut off.
HDTV provides a wider screen than conventional TV sets. The wide-screen format allows a more intense viewing experience and is able to take full advantage of the field of vision. With the prices of HDTV going down, smaller sets are hitting the market making consumers more likely to purchase HDTV.
Another great benefit of using high definition television is that HDTV has over twice the sharpness and clarity of analog TV broadcasts. The color resolution for HDTV sets is far superior. For consumers who have already made the switch to HDTV, they feel this is the biggest advantage of high definition.
The lack of imperfections in the television screen often seen on traditional television is another reason why many prefer high definition to analog. With HDTV, problems such as snow caused from a weak signal, double images from ghosting or multi-path and picture sparkles from impulse noise are a thing of the past. These problems often seen on a conventional television broadcast just do not occur on HDTV.
Screen resolution from a high definition TV broadcast is almost five times as sharp as conventional broadcasts. High definition has double the lines of resolution compared to a traditional analog TV set. While a traditional analog set can only display 525 lines of resolution, HDTV technology takes this one step farther. HDTV broadcasts can display 1080 horizontal lines of resolution. This makes a huge difference in the picture clarity and quality. Often with big screen analog broadcasts, the picture is severely degraded because of the resolution lines.
When looking into purchasing a high definition television and broadcast provider, it is important to research the products. HDTV comes in several sizes and varieties. Consumers can purchase plasma, LCD (liquid crystal display), DLP (digital light processing) or LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon), which are all types of monitors. There are also projection displays to consider. They also come in LCD, DLP, and LCOS. Many viewers prefer the wall display monitor that either plasma or LCD offers. But, these are usually the most expensive of the high definition sets, especially the ones that are sized between 40 to 70 inches. Lower on the cost spectrum, but equally good, are the LCD displays that are sized at 42 inches and under.
Also, consider the provider. High definition broadcasting and digital should not be confused. They are not the same thing. There are many cable and satellite companies that simply convert standard analog broadcasts to digital to improve reception and to provide additional services. These are not true high definition broadcasts. Also, the picture quality and resolution will not be the same as that of HDTV. The picture format will not be wide-screen. Most consumers that subscribe to cable today are getting a digital broadcast.
To keep up with the popularity of high definition, most broadcast channels now broadcast in both analog and high definition at the same time. There are currently about forty networks in the United States that now broadcast in both. These include HBO, Showtime, ESPN and the Discovery Channel. The number of networks utilizing high definition broadcast is expected to grow as the price of HDTV goes down. More consumers are asking for high definition channels for their television viewing.

Toddler Computer Games - For Starters
Author: asupport
There is a huge variety of games for toddlers out there that are easy on their hands, interactive, and very educational while at the same time entertaining. The old games that you use to see being played by parents with their child on their laps are games that you would not be playing now once you see the selection.
When choosing a good toddler computer game, pick one that will be engaging for the child and entertaining also for the adult. Toddler computer games are supposed to be played with the parents as an initial guide that graduates to the child playing the game alone. They must provide both fun to the parent as well as the child. Toddler games must be easy to start, can be paused anytime, it must have colorful graphics without scary and bloody episodes and preferably, should be customizable.
Computer software today is not really that inexpensive. As much as possible, you would not like experimenting with a CD only to find out in the end that what you bought is not appropriate. If you are one of the parents that wants to provided one for your toddler but are not sure how, you can click to any games website. The websites, aside from the games listing, also provide a brief description of a game that might catch your interest.
You can also try shareware or trialware. The advantage is that you can try out first before buying the full version.
Toddler computer game CD’s will provide you a glimpse at the graphics and the general theme of the game although in a limited level only. However it will be enough to guide you by trying out a game first before deciding to buy one. There are also free games that are available on the public domain. The toddler computer games here may not be a new version. But oftentimes they are just as good especially when starting to hunt for a toddler computer game CD.
Or you can try the following toddler computer game CD’s.
Worlds of Xeen: this is a great game for small children. It is colorful and executed in the style of cartoons. The monsters in it are lovable characters and not in a bit scary. The quests are simple enough for toddlers to understand. Children above years old though may enjoy the game better because it is not customizable even with a hex editor. It also has more complex controls that may not fit the patience of younger preschoolers.
Wizardry Gold - This is also a fighting monster kind of game. The plot may be a little bit complicated but toddlers enjoy opening up chests and moving along countryside in search for the monsters. This toddler computer game like the worlds of Xeen is very kid friendly. No gore and bad language. It is very customizable. Even the stats can be tweaked so the monster will not die.
Siberia - this toddler computer game is a modern graphic adventure. It has an easy plot and puzzles that could be absorbing to little children. There is no violence and skimpy dressing.
Other games you want to try:
The Omega Stone, Mystery of the Mummy, Chemicus, Physicus, Myst, Wizardry 8, Katamari Damacy.

How Addictive Is World Of Warcraft
Author: huntercrowell
World of Warcraft has many strengths as a game, and one of its most famous qualities is how addictive it is. It is one of the most enthralling games around - there’s an element to it that just grips you and makes it difficult to stop playing. As a result, the game is a truly fascinating experience, and many people have become hooked on the fantasy world of Azeroth.
People tend to play World of Warcraft for long periods of time. The game has an internal clock and through that you can calculate how long you have been playing it for, in hours and days. A typical player of online games might spend around 24 hours per week online. World of Warcraft is so compelling that some people play 24 hours in one session. Players become so mesmerised with the game that they just keep going, and can spend an entire day inside its world.
World of Warcraft is an online multiplayer game, a genre that tends to be very addictive by nature. One of the reasons why this particular game is so addictive is because it’s popular. Sometimes multiplayer games peter out because not enough people are playing them, and they need many people in their world to be interesting.
World of Warcraft however has been continually popular since its launch. This has ensured that it is as busy as is needed and is full of opportunities for interaction.
World of Warcraft is essentially endless. Even though the game has a final level, the experience doesn’t end once you’ve reached it and completed it. There are other challenges to do. The game’s developers, Blizzard, are constantly updating the game and adding new material and content. This ensures that its world is forever changing and expanding. The constant stream of new players also keeps the game community varied, as there are always new characters to meet.
The key point about World of Warcraft is that it is not simply a game; it is an alternative world. It is a recreation of life, and it has built its reality in as much depth and detail as possible. World of Warcraft functions as an alternative to the real world and is one of the most involving games yet designed. Players use it to get away from reality and stress and to do something very different for a while. It is a hugely entertaining title of course, with much to offer to gamers.
The world of the game still exists and grows even when you are not playing it. One of the game’s features actively encourages players to take a break every now and again. World of Warcraft features an element called the rested state, a reward system for more casual players. When players have their characters stay in an inn or a city, in other words when they aren’t playing the game, they earn certain bonuses and advantages. This can help with their progress when they do return to it.
World of Warcraft also includes internal controls that can limit how long a person plays it. The game features special parental controls that allow adults to determine how much their children may use it. They can set up a play schedule and restrict their children’s access solely to evenings or the weekend. It is also possible to set it to force a player to take a break every hour or so. This ensures that people use the game sensibly and within reason.
Overall, World of Warcraft is a terrific game and it is easy to become engrossed in it. The fact that it is so engaging just illustrates what a superlative game it is. It is very absorbing and diverting and is fine entertainment all round.

World of Warcraft Gold Buying Reviewed
Author: huntercrowell
There is a culture of players in World of Warcraft that play the game not for fun, but for profit. To the citizens of Azeroth, these players are known as Farmers. Farmers spend their time killing monsters in out of the way places for the items they drop. A farmer hopes to get rare and valuable items for the hours spent mindlessly killing. They then hock all the items gathered to vendors or to other players via the Auction House. A majority of the gold farmers active in World of Warcraft are Chinese, and often speak little to no English. Though they are often the focus of ridicule by American players, and playing video games for money is something that most American kids would dream of, their lives are not easy as it may sound.
In near sweat-shop conditions, the accounts are manned in twelve to fourteen hour shifts, without holidays or vacations. It is rare for a gold farming account to spend much time offline, as each account has two or three players assigned to it in these shifts. In tightly packed rooms, between ten to thirty computers can be running the game simultaneously. Each account has a quota, most commonly twenty gold an hour. The average price for an American player to purchase gold is $70 for one thousand gold. Using these figures, each hour of game play earns approximately $3.50. A pittance is paid to the farmer, between 45 to 55 cents an hour is the normal wage. With World of Warcraft’s subscription cost of $15 a month, the first 5 hours of the farmers first shift pays for that, everything else is profit for the company.
The American players who are up in arms at the gold farming epidemic are not lobbying for more fair work conditions, or attempting to help farmers unionize. The plight of the Chinese gold farmer isn’t even a consideration. They are worried that it has an adverse effect on the game’s economy. A farmer grinding for gold initiates a perpetual cycle. They sell the items to players for gold to give to their company, who in turn sells their gold back to the players. People buy the gold from the farming services so they can afford the things they want for their character. The purists in World of Warcraft believe that it should be hard work on the player’s behalf that earns them the best gear, not real world currency.
Blizzard takes the side of these purists, but they do not necessarily hold the same moral convictions. All items, gold, characters, likenesses… everything in World of Warcraft is intellectual property of Blizzard Entertainment. The players pay their subscription fees each month to “rent” their character. Selling items or gold is strictly forbidden by the Terms of Service Blizzard has written. According to blizzard the only thing a player owns is their log on ID and their password, even sharing that is a terminable offense. A player or account proved to be engaged in the sale of items or gold and the account selling and buying can be suspended. With the long days spent farming, and the vigilant-in-text regulations set in World of Warcraft, Blizzard has still done little to stop the farmers or the buyers.
